It's my first time with archers...
and I must say that I'm in love with the PR-GS ^^
I know that HE's suppossed to be the best archer in the game...
but I prefer PR instead.

I wold like to know the best settings for my char...

(btw, I'm using +4dex+4str-8con , +1dex-1con Dyes... it work brilliantly against a lot of chars... (mages, and some others with low speed :p)... but when i'm spotted by other archers (mainly) all becomes black xD... )

well your dyes seem fine imo and when it comes to archers,they'll mainly own you if they're luckier(crits/stun) / have better gear or are higher lvl. and he is very strong because of his natural high endurance(hp/cp) and snipe and if you can get past those,you can win.sr have the best speed and crit rate and pr has hex and the highest damage(highest str) and you get some nifty skills too like fatal counter and dead eye

is there some equip suitable for my phantom ranger??

I was wearing plated leather (49 str xD) with good results nukin'... but recently got Avadon Light (I had troubles with the weight limit T.T)


well, i'm currently lev 68... and offten hit and run (both mobs and other players... but in Pve I only use hex...)
in pvp- stun- hex- (power break for phisical players) run run run run...shots
stuning, double, run run run run...

against mages I don't have too much troubles (1-1) the stun shot work really well against 'em...

throw your avadon light set to the garbage and go back to wearing plated leather st and overenchant it.

Forget about those dyes. Those are for farming. Try +4dex +5con -9str. It will give you a better edge as your hp will you higher. It's a bad mistake to -con in for pvp, trust me. Avadon light... Well, i recommend doom light if you can manage, or especially majestic light if you can afford. You are a stun magnet too, like the mages. +50% stun resist will do you good, and +8% p.atk will compensate for the loss of str (as an archer you will feel the loss of damage. In pve, continue using hex. It's a free ticket to death for the one that got hex.

also throw your doom light set to the garbage if you have overenchanted plated leather and good enough jewlery

It's really dufficult to overenchant the sets
but
i must recongize that Plated Leather rules...

How much's the loss of damage for an archer due to use -str dyes???
I know that con is important for pvping
but I try to use hit and run tactics...
relying on the great speed of the archer
and to do the more possible damage in less time...

what u think 'bout it???

Somehow It's difficult to me to believe con in a PR can really improve the char usage

it's suppossed to be a "dye with your boots on" character...

when u loss 1 point of str
you lose a 2% of your pattack too

with both dex and con improved
my str would fall to -9 with a greater lost in p.atak (about 18-20%) which is
too much for me T.T
in lev 68:
1856 with Delven Long Bow (+4, 45 str) (i know i know... it isn't a good bow) now tink it with 32 str...p.atak falls to 1329!!!!!!!

and a last question...
what's the best SA for a bow???
I know that in daggers focus is for farming...
but...
there's no bows with CD xDDDDDD...
and criticals really are annoyng for archers---

I don't like cheap shot SA... neither for farming

best sas for bows are either cs for farming or qr for pvp or focus but that's only on drac bow
