Good afternoon guys,

My question is; are Soulhounds any good in early game? With that I mean lv 74-79 pvp in A/S (Draconic). [Official]
Most people are in dynasty/moirai/vesper. So would I be able to do more then 200 dmg in pvp? (I like the magic side of SB's)
Any information? Did you ever pvp pre-80? or farmed 24/7? Are you any good in pvp without +++ armor? Since Kamael's got low pdef.

So; Would you say, are soulhounds only good in pvp at endgame? for the rest, only good as buffstealers? [Mage weapon]

Every class isn't so good when fighting vs better geared enemy, tho buff steal and 80 lv paralise may help, but you have this low p def and hp...
imo you can deal some dmg, but ur gonna be dieing rly fast

Well I've started playing lolslh a few days ago and your main weapons are curse of divinity and steal divinity.
Get a dark weapon and enchant your skills for dark. And for goodness' sake DONT use LEOPOLD. Why does everyone do that? That skill makes you lose pvps.

And I wouldn't use a rapier unless I'm facing ranged enemies, for the death mark -> checkmate combo. Shining edge is also cool but it has a land rate just like dagger skills. Works better from the back.
I'm using a mage weapon and I have a rapier just in case. Oh, and spam that paralyze thingy if you're endgame. It's a very difficult char but it's unbeatable if you know how to play it.

I get your story, I played SLH's on some crappy private 15x servers, I loved it, but I'm afraid that it would be hard to get decent gear. There play arround 2k(right?) Players on official, wich is less then some/most of the private servers. All those players have dynasty/moirai/vesper. And, even if i'd farm farm farm, and get Draconic light & Imperial staff 150dark, I wouldnt do much damage, right?
And yeah, Shining edge is amazing aswell, just land it via back and also enchant PoK for critical (Higher chance on shining edge). My main strategie in pvp would be, get a rapier, rush in, HOPE for death mark to land, spam checkmate&shining edge & spam buff steal, since magic wouldn't do much.

Also, why not use leopold? First of all, it looks Amazing! It costs a shitload of mp, but still, it's not bad! Just takes a few seconds to cast. like 3.
Also Curse divinity is one of the best skills in the game.

Leopold: Summons Leopold's gun and fires. Consumes 7 soul. Power 224.

Soul strike: Strikes the enemy by unleashing souls continuously. Consumes 3 souls. Power 166.

Soul of pain maxed out: Unleash a soul to attack an enemy. Has a chance to remove the enemy's target. Consumes 1 Soul. Power 108.

It does the double damage of soul of pain! god :o
amazing not?
Or you mean you would enchant soul of pain, as much as it would overpower Leopold? You can also enchant leopold for PvP. It's better then Elements nowadays, because of the new 3 elements per armor part system.
I don't understand your statement :$.

In pvp leopold seriously sucks. You can do so much in the time you're casting leopold. I'd only PROBABLY use it if the target gets para. But that's it. And it's useless unenchanted. Its cast time is too long and isn't worth it damage-wise.

And actually with good equipment magic does everything. Death mark really won't land unless it's at least +10 on chance on endgame chars. Enchant everything you can. In retail I'd seriously suggest you to enchant on duel and not on dark attribute. You can try getting your weapon fire and enchanting leopold for fire so you can have an attributed skill. People don't really pay fire too much attention, but they really get dark resistance because of necromancers, dark avengers and slh. Fire only anti-sorcerers which is seriously not such a big thread since the sorcerer population isn't great. Also some daggers use fire aswell, but not too many.

and tyrants and titans dont?

Oh rite that too xD I knew something seemed off.

Or just enchant everything on duel for the hell of it. It can't be countered. I usually keep one skill on a certain element in freya. Maybe you turn lucky and bomb the shit out of him.

He means, No one uses water defence attributes, since only MM's use water attacks.
The less attribute resist your enemy has -> more damage.
Sometimes you should think tactical instead of wich type of element you are.
Since when you go dark you only get a 30 attrib. bonus (Dark weapon toggle&buff, but yes, you can enchant the selfbuff for +dark).
It wouldn't do much if your enemy has 600 dark resist and 0 water resist :3

Its official so you can have 3 resists on each part of set so ppl will have water resist..and SLH DOESNT HAVE ANY WATER ATTACK...it wouldnt get any bonus dmg..capish?

Calks, I think what they mean is.. They think that if you have max water on a weapon and hit a target without any element resistance you get bonus dmg. And you don't.

Guys, if you have water on weapon you ONLY do bonus damage if
1. the enemy has water weakness (which except mobs is almost impossible. only possible if your target would have surrender to water which is unlikely lol..)
2. you have +water on a skill.

Hum? So if you have a 0 elemental weapon, you'd do same damage in pvp as a 300 elemental weapon? [Unless the target has surrender to ..]
I don't think so?><
