Hi people, i would like to ask how you would equip a pally with A-B grade on lvls ~70-75

Mine is almost 72 now and i have Maj Hvy with some safe enchants and AOBA + Health
I have some money now and want to make my paladin more versatile

I can try to find a Doom hvy +6 set and a Damascus+focus with some enchants, this setup seems very good

Other option is to buy a NM set and get a DLE+health

Or i may go cheaper and have a DC hvy with tallum blade+haste

i wonder which would be best for both Pve/pvp. I cant afford S grade armor and weapon so I have to stick to A-B grade. What are your opinions on these or other setups, including dyes as well?

Overenchanted DC/doom definatelly best sets (if its available) until u can get IC
DLE with any SA if u want go more offensive.Damascus+f++++
Elysian+hp if u wanna be T.A.N.K.

elysian + health?! for what?! omfg u gona tank lol not deal dmg!
war axe+ hp is enough for tanking
best tanking set if u r able to get some ee buffs or at least pp buffs is nm set
ur mj heavy is very usefull set in pvp(adds accuracy blah blah stun resistance blah blah)
i would suggest u to stick only to tanking role in pvp-hate and shackle oponents->so u need to stand alive as much as possible
if u gona be lonely wolf and u gona pvp alone u should take imo sword + focus and ofcourse +health
ofc dle is the powah but dont underestimate 1 handed blunts because the accuracy with 'em is higher and some ppl sell elysian way cheaper than tallum blade for example
imo haste weapons are not for u simply because ur base dex is low and that means low base atk spd and that means that the bonus of haste effects will be low too:D
i would suggest to raise only ur dex and drop ur con only once(-4con)
+4str would be like what?4-5% patk?to human tank?but -4 con is about 400 hp right?

I do believe +con-str is better than health weapon, cuz HP stays permanent when you switch weapons, and cuz con gives CP and some resists as well

-str should be compensated by the more criticals from the focus weapon i think

if i get damascus focus + OE doom set, is it good to think about -str+dex symbols?

GoDs3nD yes i love my maj set, but i feel now my shield def rate has dropped and it hurts:/ If i fight with WC or SE in the group i really miss bless shield and adv. block buffs

And i will have to sell my maj hvy to get an OE doom set
I play on dex x4 server and DLE is waay too expensive because they need it for S duals. It is actually twice the price of Elysian and five times the price of Tallum blade. But TB i'd say no cuz for paladin haste SA sucks i think

and yes i dont want to go DD setup, i just want more versatile

600hp and 300cp is-4con i never drop con on tank. Nm have nice p def yes and root resist but if u want talk about tanking overecnchanted or not enchanted dc/doom > nm in many ways.

i had a NM hvy and i sold it, it was good only for the resists
shield bonus is kinda useless, may be NM is better for DA
i found maj hvy better for party pve, but both nm and maj lack the block rate which is a problem for human tanks

as i said blessed shield will solve ur problems and dex dyes as well

as gods3nd said...+4 con +4 dex -8str dyes are always good on a tank. That's why is called "tank". You must buy a good armor and a good shield 1st. Then jwls...and then you buy a good weapon(for oly). Nm set is za' best for a paladin. As gods3nd said...blessed shield and the +4 dex dye will do the uber block job. If you wanna powerlvl...go with your clan mates and raid ALOT. You just need nm set+some good jwls and a war axe+health. When it's oly time...you need to get your IC set done and a forgotten blade+health and another one +focus.

i think you know the paladin pvp style. When your hp reaches 50%, UD+touch of life+heals. When your hp reaches 40% again switch your weapon to focus. When your hp reaches 30% use Angelic icon+Vengeance and 2-3 heals. And then...your enemy is officially pwned. This is the ultimate pvp style xD if your enemy is too pro and too powerfull you can beat him with this combo xD

switch to focus weapon when ur hp is 75% because health effect is not working anymore
if u r gona join oly u need at least 1 boss jewel and nm set for sure because u may face tyrants and destroes so nm set will give u still a little boost with its 4% reflect

Now, seriously, why do u praise the NM so much?
I was wearing it through levels 65-70 and i couldnt work out what its all about. Resist bonuses are great, no argument, but mostly useful against mages and buffers, and against nukers i get owned anyway
Shield bonus is most of the time pathetic. 4%p.atk is good but u can get it from maj hvy as well, p.def is the same
yes +con is good but -dex isnt much good so u have to compensate it somehow

may be NM is better for DA or SK, but for paladin i think i will be better with doom, dc or my current maj set

look this is my personal noob opinion
nm armor is for the fat tanker that is buffed and doesnt give a shit about the dmg he recieves or -dex

fat tank=hp/pdef fortresse
just get ee buffs and dc set will be useless..

hmm i just cant understand why someone can think that dc is good. maybe it is just me but i think that this set is TOTALLY useless. 4% more from heals is nothing!!! almost doom is better and it is b grade!!! better bonuses only a little worst p def...
imo top armor set for a paladin/da is prolly nm. great bonuses, great p def
nothing more u need. however doom set +6 could be great too. i dont know about its p def but it might be nice, maybe close to nm/maj. try l2pcalc and see what is better. i just dont recommend you DC.....
