Post subject:  Summoners - overall, skills, cubics, summons
Im going to start playing on low rate IL server (DEX), and im thinking about a summoner. I have never played one before, i have only seen some skills on l2.com/pmfun.com, but i never saw them in action.

I will ask you, what summoner is good for pvp, or if he is good for pvp (excluding oly, i wonder pvp out of olly), which of them can beat some class easily, whic of them has problems with someclass...........which cubics are usefull and which are useless, aswell as summons and their abilities.

im setting a pool question too (i think it will be like 60% of all for warlock, but lets see anyway :D )

the wk is most used on dex because of it cat queen buff
after yo get that cat and its buff you can get into parties for mos it pagans pi almost any dd party out there

with warlock you simply own everything...from catas to higher lvl farming places such as IT, FOG, ketras, varkas, etc etc...

it's simply the best summoner to choose because it got stronger and stronger since c5 and its getting even bether :twisted:

Phantom Cubic + Spark Cubic > All

U don't need Arcane Disruption cuz with your first debuff Spark will trigger and a Stun will land.

Why need Warrior Bane if you have Wind Shackle and Phantom Cubic. Also Spark.

Assassin Servitor makes u the best at PvE.

And on CT2 PS will get Death Spike (Also Summon Cursed Bones lol).

to be honest it's all about taste...all summoners are great for pve and oly(not vs erase)
ES has aoe so it can make huge trains + party buff for nukers.
PS has stun cubic and VR on shadow + aoe possiblities on "alien".
WK has DD party cat buff + anchor cubic and aoe root and stuff....

ES is good in huge parties, coz of mass nukes and especially the buffs. For pvp, or solo pve, the worst choice imo.
PS, donno, for pve, I surely would go for ps, especially if I only have servitor buffs.
For both pvp, pve I would go for wlk. Got all the banes, though, spark cubics lands better and I would choose phantom cubic over storm or binding.

So ps or wlk, but I like wlk better, still a warrior bane is better than only a shackle imo:) And you will have only problems with nukers maybe, coz you can't keep up the heal if your summon is dying, so that's arcana disruption for:P
Against fighters, grtz, self reflect, if it's archer, then stun will almost land never and summons got 100% derangement resistance, so no target will be lost.

In mass it/fog sph's parties, im really sure that u would see a good difference when mobs are being killed just with necros mass gloom, and with necro+ mass wind surrender and shades curse (whats about 30%+10% dmg, dont remember :o) in addition. Also the shades curse is a mass agro too, so mages would be less scared from dieing.
Anyway i dont think that the horse buffer is better, cuz the shade can heal too if needed

Ps>all if good played, not talking about the owerpowering of it at ct2

ES FTW!
-he's za best with a warlord and a pp in party(full buff for horse and WL, wizard servitor on horse...WL takes many mobs with provoke and the horse pwn them with the aoe nuke)
-he's za best in nukers party(unicorn seraphim)
-almoust the best in siege(merrow)
-life cubic heals you and your party members with kinda' 300 hp
-aqua cubic is verry good in pvp and raid
-he's a killing machine in olympiad
simple and easy...ES FTW!!!!

guys SHUT UP!! another wich 1 is the best thread?ffs there is no best!u dont need warlock in a mage pt!u need es..u dont need es in warrior pt! ffs!! at raids u need es cuz of seraphims buffs!
u need ps for pvp cuz of his great spark cubic and add here the phantom cubic wich is WOOOT GREAT at pve vs mobs with high hp
ps also may be a healer or tanker(the fat summon-nightshade) each summoner has his strong part..its up to u to decide-my choice was ps

its only a matter of playstyle,race(i mean u like DEs or not for example) and ofc friends :)

I love ES, but what does it matter, if everyone likes WK? Stop making such useless topics, cos u know some will say PS, some will say ES, and others will say WK. Imo , yes, any! Just like a well played PP can beat any class. Just like a well played spoiler can beat any class.

Its the player that makes the char good or bad. Ive seen PvP mosnters being beaten by low lvl dwarfs and etc. It doesnt matter the class, play whatever u like or whatever u are good playing.

Yeah it's true, but nothing is perfectly balanced in l2.
As you can see a dwarf is generally weaker then a gladi for example.
Though I saw here a linked video about how a necro got beaten by a WS.

So everyone says that it's based on how well you can play, but also how strong the characters are and in L2, there's always atleast one unbalanced char, like the gladis, necros, nukers-in c4 were.

Imo, you should think about these topics as what do you like and not think about it as "what is the best".

I don't see it in the description or in the title the "best" word:)
I like to go on small pvps, pves, that's why I like wlk and ps better.
But none of them is the best what is true.

With a warlock, you lvl quickly in a fighter party in late game. With phantom summoner as well, because mass phantom cubic makes it easier for hexing, thus the ps actually being an indirect hexer.

thanks for posts, almost everyone seems to be useful for me :)

to godsend: this is not topic who is best, but what strong/weak sides got these summoners, i wasnt asking who is best but i was asking for advantages, their role etc, just to make a "picture" about them, which will help me chose which one will SUIT ME best (or if summoners arent way to go for me)
