On CT1 a lot of things have changed on skill enchantment.
For example, a new book, giants' secret codex of mastery, give you the ability to enchant +1 with 100% chance. Where can I find these new books?

It does not work like that as far as i know.It has the same chances as the secret book of giants but if it fails ur skill remains as u had it b4.

Now that thee is released a new version of l2, "Hellbound", stay alert to learn. Maybe on Kamael does not work yet, but if you find it on hellbound, It will please me too.

on CT1, or the first kamael patch(correct me here if i am wrong, and sorry if i am), the sieges for fortresses are implemented...
i am not sure as to whether the CT1 is the first kamael patch, but the fortress sieges are implemented on the kamael patch...

around these fortresses are NPC's, named mysterious merchants(or whatever the name was) that are roaming around the fortresses...
the NPC sells the "giants' secret codex of mastery", three kinds of it, and some other items, usable only when there is a siege in the fortress that you have seem the merchant...

the "giants' secret codex of mastery" can be bought by normal adena, and additional items called "knight's epaulet"...

well i think the price depends on the server you are in...
the item "knight's epaulet" cost roughly 10m each in our server...
although, i have heard some rumors that this item can be obtained by killing guards during fortresses...
but i haven't got any time to confirm this, since fortress sieges are not that popular on our server...
anyway, i forgot how much adena will be used to buy the book...
and i also forgot how many knight's epaulet will be used... >.<

can you at least remember that what i post here is always confirmed on an official server...

since i have no luck on finding this merchant, i wasn't able to confirm the price of these books, and how many knight's epaulet is needed...

i have found the suspicious mechant(name now confirmed) again, in one of the fortresses...

now, i will list the requirements for buying he giant's codex, there are 3 types:

Giant's Codex - Oblivion:
needs 200 knight's epaulette and 1m adena

Giant's Codex - Discipline:
needs 540 knight's epaulette and 1.260m adena

Giant's Codex - Mastery
needs 1800 knight's epaulette and 1.8m adena

i am yet to confirm what the differences are...
theoretically, "giant's codex - mastery" may have higher chances in enchanting your skill... lolz... no confirmation about this yet, thus theoretical...

and also, i have confirmed that the "knight's epaulette" item is dropped by guards on a fortress...
take note that you can only get this when you siege a fortress...

as for the knight's epaulette's market price, well it differs on every server...
but they are being dol for 10m each on our server...

and also, the support team captain(name?) in the fortress will also sell some items... yet again, forgot to confirm their prices....
he will sell circlets that can only be worn by [insert race], agathion bracelets(worth 5m, but absolutely useless, just for decoration cause a fairy will appear near you adn do some useless tricks... lol)...
and some other items... forgot what they are
