Post subject:  What Class to Play for a Party of Three?
Me and two friends will start playing L2. The three of us will always play together in a party.

My question is what is the best class setup for the three of us for both PvP and PVE?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

I would say a BD or SE, they're the best in any kind of parties, and in plus, ur party will grow ;). But it depends, if one of ur friend is BD or SE u can go for a nuker or archer. Like i said, tell us what classes are ur 2 friend and u'll get specific info on what class is indicated or best suited. :)

@Ravenheart: thanks for the input. I'm sorry if I raise stupid question, so Destro will be the tanker and WC will be the buffer+healer?

@redpill: we are starting from beginning, so none of us have chosen a class.

BD/SE/PR, is a very roxxative party for leveling (on hp*2 or *3 mobs)

oh, there are so many posibilities!!!

Usually go for 2 DD and an assisstant/buffer/healer. This is the most efficient way to party.

here are some good combinations of 3 person parties:

2 nukers(sph/necro + sorc/sps) + Se/Bd
2 archers + bd/se/pp/Wc
gladi + destro/bd(bd is good for dormg dealing, dances, hex and power break) +se/pp/wc/ol
WL + destro/dwarf with pole + se/Wc ( this combo is very good in catas or in places with mobs in groups)

@yasaera and redpill : wow thanks, there's so many combination I don't know where to start.

Ok now lets say in this party of 3 one person wanted to play tanker (PA/DA/?) and one person wanted to play healer (Bishop/Prophet). What class combination would be best?

In my opinion the best pve party with 3 ppl would be BD+SWS+PP/WC...dont know what to say about pvp but I've tested this kind of pve party at 4x mobs and all went super nice. 8)

@ TEUDON: That's an interesting idea ;), 2 assisstants and a buffer ;).

Hm, for tanker go for a SK, very nice offencive skills, and for a buffer/healer go for a PP, or even an SE, coz ur SK with vampiric cubic and Vampire Rage will do very nice, plus empower is a very nice skill for SK to, coz of hex, leach.

Paladin + bishop is a RB combo mostly, but it's harder to lvl, it's nice, but for pve even a PP can heal pretty good. Paladin is a very nice class to play, but u need good experince with him, plus lvling one is a bit of a pain. I dont like DA that mutch, and the elven tanker, well, he's not that popular :D. SK is a very good coz he's a nice debuffer, with hex, p break, phantom (poltergist) cubic (with decrease enemy stats even more). As a party healer i would pick a SE, PP can do good to, and if u got the right set of balls, even WC can be a healer with his pasiv skill, that chant of life.

For the 3rd person in party pick a Dmg dealer with great output: archer, nuker, necro, gladi, destro or a bd, so u can boost ur tank's fighting skills even more. if u pick a SE for a healer u can get the 3rd person to be a nuker.

or, as a fact, go for pala + bish + bd/nuker so u'll have the basic for a good RB party ;)

i wouldnt pick wc for a three man party. first of all his buffs seem weaker then others and secondly he has low healing power ... i would go for PP or SE although it depends on the party because wc can also fight ;) i love orcs

I would choose: ANY summoner (eg: phantom summoner - imo best for pve) + BD and SE
in this formation u will own every cata/necro from the start to the end :twisted:

yeah, or even go for summoner + bd+ wc so the summon (main dmg dealer) gets dances and chants, even more power.

SK,HE(or AW/TH),Necro and a BD is just fine for everything.
