The best thing would be sr. Get a maj light set, tate jewels +3 and you shouldn't have much problems. If it's self buffed, the mage is screwed because one double shot does a lot of damage. Plus rapid fire.
When it's full buffed, depends on the mage too. If it's an equal fight, with rapid fire you should have no problems. But remember that you can always choose to kite the mage, because the range should be 150 more. It's not exactly enough, but believe me, it's better to kite. Reason? He won't get in 600 range to cast cod or anchor. It will be an exchange of shots. 1 of his and 1 of yours. As your crit rate will be 500, i'm telling you, your shots are gonna hurt more. I don't recommend dyes.

Tyrant is great too, because he can seriously cancel the enemy mage's spells. Use drac set and no dyes.

Adventurer, well... He needs some luck to land his blows, but if the enemy's running, he's a good chaser. Draconic set too.

+1.Mage will probably be always in a state of shock thanks to your attack speed and self buff which increases the cooldown of your skills...
Speaking about adventurer the main thing is not to get slow(or something like that). But if you get it use dush or take your bow...
Tyrant.Try to use your own slow(cripple) at the mage...

With SR/PR its easy to win vs mage :P
With PW/AW too , TH have good chances also
With Tyrant u have no problems , just reach the mage

To make it short all fast classes can beat mages easly
Slow classes has no chance i think :)

first find a nice clan/ally/friends then equipment and after you have those really important things go make an archer, all will do just fine but i would choose HE imo.

SR is v good choice another good option is PW-again self buffed they have v high speed. With buffs i think PR should pwn all those niggaz or a tyrant can do the job pretty well too and if ur srv is soo buggy so u can mix ur classes take a TANK class(they have passive resist magix:D)

okey its easy but you need timing.
first normal combat use the force skills and soul break.
use cripple if he try to escape.
after 30% hp (carefully you need timing!!!!).
use force barrier(for 10 sec skills won't hurt you)and zealot.
Oh! before you're under 30% hp use bison. ;)
then just let the tyrant attack and use sometimes soul break to be safe.
that's all try it you will own coward ^^
