Just play L2... subclass can have chars with 3rd proff... You'l know everything about sub in game

Subclass: when u finish your 3rd class transfer u can start a quest(Fate's Whisper) which from u will receive a low A-grade weapon and a quest item; the quest item will be needed for another quest named Mimir's Elixir.
Make those quests and will be able to add asubclass to your character, u can pick any subclass(except Overlord and Maestro)(your character looks the same but acts like another char(e.g.: your main class is Necro after those quests u can choose to be a bladedancer, you will look the same, but will have that stats and skills of the bladedancer(which is a Dark Elf)=> that is a subclass, and u will be able to switch between the main class and subclass how many times u want, and whenever u want, u can make a maximium of 3 subclasses))

if u have a DA(as a main class) u can add as a subclass a necro for e.g. and vice-versa
