hadn't even registered my sefl on this forub, even if i read it for 3 years now.I just hate flaming till everyone want to post the "I'm The Best" sh1t.
But this topic - just what i expirienced, so let me tell you something owners...
1st of all - SPS and DMG on high levels - no such thing, not on pvp, not farming, just no dmg.
2nd of all - any other mage can either: drain back his hp, silence you or with sorcerer - cancel you WITH MORE M.ATT that you !so you are prety much screwed here...
3rd if all - need a good reason to make a sps? Sps goes for 1600+ cast spd on the highest levels.Interupt somebodies cast ? o.O if you are the only one with jewels and armor and weapon in the pvp - i agree.
So after grinding to 80 lvl and S grade with the Sps we go for necro:
1st : Mana - isn't problem
2nd: DMG - plenty
3rd: pvp - SH may give you some hard time, but still you cast faster and gloom, SH cant do that
4th: the summon is easy to kill? OK with that if you are in pvp with the summon, but i still think you will most probably need to kill the necro too o.O
5th: Wanna play with style, be mean, get skilled ?
go for necro. sps will make you wish you had more skills to play with.
so at the end :
SPS - easy to play, onebuttoned caster, with too low m.att to mass pvp
Necro - a badass madafaka that can kill you in so many ways....
P.S.:not talking about oly and fighting against other types(close ranges and stuff...)

when u pick a class u want to know all the classes u can "smack"
necro has low chances vs mellee fighters
while sps has great chance to kill a mellee char

why u talk of end game pvp?at lvl ~60 most SHs cant even cast a spell cuz they are interrupted all the time

i've leveled it solo, it is easy to play for me and not interesting also.
since i got it on sub class, all the time i was playing it i was wishing it was a necro.
solo is not a problem - mana is.

when u have a 75+ char its piece of cake to buy a homu+acu and carmian set for lvl 40

in pvp there are loadz of strategies
for example noobs use surender+hydro..hydro..hydro....
there are many combos like hydro+ice dagger+etc etc

necro is the f1 char not the sps
necro is 1 of the easiest chars to lvl
when u get cdl u kill mobs with 1 hit
when u lvl u use BTM and mana potions or corpse life drain
when u pvp u gloom+nuke
or gloom+some curse + nuke
and same time the summon takes good amount of the dmg
thats why necro>all in pvp servers

Let me say i'm a VERY big fan of both necro and sps and i consider myself pretty skilled with both so i might give a few +/- for both of them.

First of all to everyone that said sps sucks at farming...BEEP WRONG.
Griding to 74~+ will be a pain that's a fact, but the real farm comes after that when you go to full partys where you never run out of mana or you must rest 2 min every hour or so.
And lets not start about the places where mobs have dark resist? MOS or toi11 or whatever dont compare to the fog, 4s, it, pi, etc. and lets face it BEST farm = AOE and necro dont have aoe nukes and on the other hand sps is the 2nd best aoe nuker after sorc respectivly so if u prefer to grind to 75 fast and go to shit partys after that cause the good ones dont need necro do so.
For pvp i prefer sps cause of his bigger cast, more m.crits and it takes a little less skill to be good with it, but on 1vs1 necro is one of the best classes in the game no argue here that however doesnt mean sps cant win if its 900 range pvp the necromancer must walk 300 range before he unleashed the curses and that gives sps enough time to kill summon+make a 1-2 direct hits on necro and argue all you want drain blah blah higher m.atak blah blah necro will NEVER EVER outnuke sps(or sorc/sh for that matter) he needs to use the cursed to win every pvp the F1 F1 F1 "tactic" is sh1t.
On mass pvp however necro is the bomb warrior/mage bane +mass gloom/slow is GG even if you have to die to pull off the banes its always worth it.
In the end its just a matter of taste, but i never got bored on sps and i've fallen asleep while playing necro, but thats just me.

Necro have corpse burst wich has aoe effect, but i agree, SpS is the 2'nd aoe nuker in front of SH just because of FoG. Most of the FoG mobs have resistance to fire and weakness to water.

i play on pvp server x1000 l2ramsheart and i play with SH im lvl 85 with +20 icarus hall +11 set +7 jewels
i have 15k m. atk and 1.3k cast speed
today tyrant and dagger tryied to kill me both dead in 10 casts still had 4k hp left ^^ its really fast farming nice pvp when i had not that good armour and weapon i had problems with necros but now nearly none and if your playing of pvp server with stackable subsystem SH will be the best nucker
high m.atk necros debuffs and necros summon SH will be the best mage but in low rate servers i allways played with sps because of the cast speed

proalien uninstall that servers system folder ffs

LOL OMG . The only noob is the man who sa that necro is for noobs , and that you need skill to beath with SPS ! what SKILL OMG ?! CANCEL and hydroblast ?? mabe some votx and that . and with necro you must learn to use your debuffs wisely , to learn how to use anchor and silence , and :

Thry beat me with necro . take any other Mage , or fighter class .( especial mages , I wana see your M atack and cast speed after abys . dont talk about bans coz it wil be to easy ) . And about summon .. I never used it realy , coz I never neeed it . but it can buy you some time in pvp . while you kill Necro-s pet , he will use come to you , BAN , Gloom , Vortex , Abu , and and ?? Silence , Anchor , DOOM !! so dont talk shits about necro .

look necro fan.. i would like to see U casting ur abyss while u have -30% cast spd after my wind vortex and while i beat ur ass up!
