I'm sick of th being said as the best char.
It's the best dagger all right, UNTIL lvl 78. Because aw and pw gets focus death. And th falls behind like a sheep, his high hp still can't handle toe damage output. For the aw at least. Hex and he's done. For pw it's the same simple, just no hex.

/agree Icarus but most people still play C3 i think because i belive they donno what Focus Death does , put Focus Death + DW + DoF + VS + AQ + Baium + PoW + Hex ( if you whana be real bad ) and i belive when a the GH hit's you 2x on BS your armor will turn into Crystals ... as for Duelist , it's not ToP class because an Necro can allways land Curse of Doom and then it's bye bye .. it is good at end-game , it was very overpowerd in C5 when the AoE skills didn't consume Charges and now in Interlude with the Barrier and Dash it's rapeing a lot of classes.

True. But tanks and the destro can pretty much kick the glad. As for the th, yes, c3 was his chronicle. On c3 it was overlord and th. Now it's stabilised. Some say in c3 sps was there too, but i used to run from overlords with my sps.

There was never an OL Chronicle .. i understand that on this forums we talk about things same as retail . Get an level 80 OL and put him to give a full buff , after that maybe he can restore Cp once or twice . OL is no Nuker because he can't add +Int so in order to play properly with an OL you have to be a CP battery and save the Mp for a few seals and a sleep , now in Interlude there was a raise in the Seal land rate . Ofcourse if you play on server's where you have MP Pots , yeah he can do some dmg because his drain is the most nasty , 90% from damage goes back as HP but still if you hit in Cp you won't drain anything so it's a little weird here but on retail OL = Cp Battery and De-buffer period. And the SpS was in C2 one of the best , in C3 NcSoft nerfet Aura Flare and made like -50% dmg in PvP or something like this .

In c3 i wasn't referring to ol on official, on private servers with mana pots. The flare damage reduction was implemented in c4 if i'm not mistaking.

Well Icarus i can link you to some movies from Interlude retail Bartz server and see how a Duelist with decent buffs can kill a hole party . A dagger is good but if 2-3 paople target him his dead imo but a Duelist can last much much longer with the Duelist new PvP setup that was made public.

Yes, kill a party of mages not a party of tanks. The gladiator is more balanced, because he is the heavy type of fighter.
By antithesis, the dagger has the damage output dangerously higher, but is more fragile and swift. The duelist can't be an efficient pk or general killer (backstab situations), while a dagger can.

well btw a gladi kill a sk and a ol kill a gladi what u say now

Btw a glady doesn't kill a sk. A duelist maybe can win a Shillien templar but not a sk...i had a sk 70 lvl and gladies at my lvl couldn't beat me(the gladies knew how to play)
