1 second can make difference between life and death........a C set will never replace a B set only becouse it gives a m attack bonus...

Its not that you'll always die. If you're a bit careful you won't die...
Thing is, its not worth it. I'd still rather get c speed set.
Even if its +500 dmg Its still an extra hit not more.
I'd rather do 1 nuke more and b2m lil more/faster.
This way i wouldn't have to get another set for pvp :p

OK let me make this very simple:


In pvp you need Damage per second = A lot of casting speed, because u will most likely not run out of mana, so there you go for the mainstream setups like dc + Som acumen.


In Pve you need Damage per mana to do the best grinding = A lot of Matk so you can easily bring down a mob in 1 or two hits. And of course everyone knows that 1x mobs are the best exp if there are a lot of them. Four 1x hp mobs give more exp then one 4x hp mob.


Down to some math of the Demonic set:
(A base of dyes: Int+4/Wit+4/con+4)


Lets say that you make 100 damage per hit and do 100 hits, which makes it 100x100= 10 000 damage

With Avadon/karmian set +15% casting spd -->
100x115 = 11 500 damage

With Demon set only (weapon + magical power math would only confuse most of ya...)
The stats is +4 INT -1 WIT
+4 INT = +31.79% Matk
-1 WIt = -6% casting spd

Which makes: 94 hits and 132 power per hit
94x132 = 12 408 damage


This prooves that Demon set is better then Avadon and karmian in a non-close combat fight. For example, Demon set is better then Avadon and karmian on raids because of the better damage.

last calculation, how much more damage does the demon set do in the same time?

12 408 / 11 500 = 1.07896 = 8% more damage during a raid for example.
Adding any weapon to this would only make Demon set even better compared to Avadon/karmian

Demon set gives +31.8% Matk and -6% casting spd... That plus a top C-grade magical power and you'll have 1k+ Matk on lvl 44

I play a lot, and i tend to use my brain, unlike you do apparently.
