a paladin is a human... like others it has 40 STR, a weapon mastery and full buffed it can hit equal to other classes... AI its a second cov... no buff gives u 100 critical rate, 30% atk speed and +30 movement speed with just 1 slot, and yeah, ranged > all, but for a tank with hight p def/m def, shackle, shield stun and a +30 movement speed bonus the work is easier than destroyers, shilliens knight(wich shackle has a hort range) and other non ranged classes...

Video rocks... and if u haven't played paladin u can't understand... Paladin (as all tanks) rock. Realise it mates: Tanks are not pvp-loosers but winners: They are the only class that can afford to take dmg

destro is owns pally and other tankers

wel i saw when a paladin kiled destro in 1 vs 1 pvp. when destro turned on frenzy+zealot .... paladin just used shacle and waited till frenzy ends and turned on AI and killed destro in 10 s (paladin vas 72lvl , destro 76lvl) i saw it in oficial server.

that destro didn't had a bow?

Two words: Shield Slam... destro is dead (u have to be a phoenix knight , 77 though...)

That destro was dumb cuz he didnt turn lionheart on.
Also, in PvP they would both have AI and frenzy/zealot on.
Pali would probably die some hits even with AI.

And really, for any mellee to be really effective in PvP you need full support. And damage dealers kill tanks easily with full support afaik.

jesss.... everytime I come to this forum I see more and more crap... people talk about what they don't know... a Paladin with the right dyes can own easilly a lot of classes in 1on1... spellhowler has no chances... necromancer has no chances, daggers only have chance in olympiad due to time limit, archers dont have chances, titans have few chances, duelists have few chances, tyrants have few chances, spoilers have no chances, warsmiths have few chances, warlock has high chances, elemental summoner has high chances, phantom summoner has high chances, bishops have no chances, prophets have few chances, even elders have no chance, shilien elders are so dead... about other tanks its all a matter of skill and luck... Paladin can own or be owned by any other tank depending on the circunstances and luck. Fact

never heard of fortitide , war frenzy and other destro's buffs ?

Never played paladin? I play paladin as my main, since i play l2 (and i play many years). From my experience i beat destro 9/10. And the times i have lost, i lost because i did something stupid, or i was careless. Come on... Destro is a good class but tanks own him really hard.
