Also depends on what weapons the server you play on supports. Some older servers do not support any armour or weapons that give bonuses towards PVP. I would check with a GM or on the forums of the server you play on to see what is supported and what is not.

Also there are certain SA's Like Wide-blow, towering blow etc that do not work properly on certain Java servers or are over powered. Once again check with Admin or GM on the server you play at.

I mean to be fair to BASSstarlet, if you take a look at the weapons listed there, it also shows some bogus there - for example the Dragon Claw, Aurakyria Lance, Spear Of Halter Family and Spear Of Hunter Family (which I suppose are some kind of quest poles, even I have not heard of those yet) and even for the Saint Spear itself there are tons of variants listed there, with various SA and masterwork variants, and there's even the hero pole, so all in all I'd still say it's still a valid question, as the right pick is not that obvious

And to be fair, I told him to ask a GM or go to the server forum of the server he is playing on. Only they would know what items they support.

Are we supposed to guess? There are a shit ton of java servers out there with a ton of custom stuff. He could also go browsing in player shops to see whats available.

Sure its a little legwork, but in the end the info will be correct. There are just too many variables these days.

Here is a more up to date list. But like I said, we know nothing about the server he plays on, and what mods have been done.

Also if he does play on a Java server he can download the database and get a bit more accurate items list.
