If you read the entire post he said to maximize the Buffs do not go over level 4. After level 4 the negative effects kick n and nerf the positive.

Thats what those pools are for.

If the buffs on your server are normal 20 minutes then you can simply wait them out or lower them by going into the special pools.

Or kill the creature before it buffs ya. Or in your case curses you.

Then do like herlitz suggested and hit the pools with the washing dwarves in it. But each pool works on a different buff.

Herlitz you want to chime in and make sure I was correct in assuming you meant that at +4 the buffs are perfect and anything above that adds the negative? Thats how I read it.

Exactly! Level 4 is the sweet spot, anything above increases just the debuff part. The only exception for you @BASSstarlet is that you can actually get the Malaria to level 10, since you do not care about casting speed and the MP cost reduction "debuff" is actually highest on level 10. But since getting the perfect debuffs is quite difficult, if you get Flu and Rheumatism to level 4, you'll be just golden 1 hour debuffs are amazing too, it can help you a ton

Just the flu is fine I guess. If it's too much of a chore, then just even +3 already gives nice bonuses already. But I'd still recommend to try to get a grip of it, it takes some practice but you won't regret having these "debuffs" available whenever you need

The door actually has to be opened by a dagger char (they have this skill Unlock, which is used both on chests and these kind of doors), so you must get a pt with one or wait until someone else comes around
