Cool. People sometimes forget that Rune is sorta multi level. All the clan halls are up top. Good luck finishing your quest.

On some servers yes. Easiest way to find out is go to giran and go to say the human section to the right of the church. Talk to the main dude there and see if you have options under sub-classes.

Giran Human Magic Guild and talk with Grand Magister Jurek.

Select Subclass and choose one. I forget what level you hav e to be before you can choose, and like I said some servers require a quest. Good luck.

You have your answer. Some servers allow you to bypass the mimir elixer quest. That thing is a big waste of time. Ask on the forums and see. Otherwise, get ready for a huge chunk of wasted time.

Ahh yes, those are the notorious Hot Springs "debuffs" Certain mobs in this location can give you these debuffs, which add some stats but remove others. The debuff can increase in levels (meaning if the mob debuffs you 7 times, you get debuff level 7) and can reach up to level 10. The trick is that they only give decent stats only to a certain level, with peak at level 4, after which the "buff" part gets reduced or removed entirely and the "debuff" part increases. Good thing however is that if you get "overdebuffed" to a level you no longer want, you can come to one of those pools of colored waters (you can usually find some dwarf taking bath in there already) and it will remove the debuffs for you (though various pools remove various debuffs).

Now as for the stats, officially only exist Hot Springs Cholera (increases Accuracy, decreases Evasion) and Hot Springs Malaria (increases Casting Spd, decreases MP cost - yes, it is overpowered like that). However since you have two more, this means your server must also have Hot Springs Flu and Hot Springs Rheumatism, which as I was able to find should have the following stats:

Hot Springs Flu
1: atk speed +4%
2: atk speed +8%, p atk -4%
3: atk speed +12%, p atk -4%
4: atk speed +16%, p atk -4% <- this one you want
5: atk speed +8%, p atk -8%
6: p atk -8%
7: p atk -8%
8: p atk -12%
9: p atk -12%
10: p atk -15%

Hot Springs Rheumatism
1: critical +3%
2: critical +5%, pdef -4%
3: critical +8%, pdef -4%
4: critical +10%, pdef -4% <- this one you want
5: critical +5%, pdef -8%
6: pdef -8%
7: pdef -8%
8: pdef -12%
9: pdef -12%
10: pdef -15%

So basically what you want to do, is watch closely the level of the debuff the mobs give you, and once the level of Rheumatism or Flu reaches level 6, go to one of those colored pools, have them debuffs removed and go get a new one Also, various mobs give various debuffs, which means that if you manage to hit exactly the level 4 of both Flu and Rheumatism, you can go farm different mobs and keep the tasty bonus as long as possible Depending on how long the debuffs last on your server, some people also come to the Hot Springs just for the debuffs and then go farm elsewhere (this is commonly the case if you see someone having a "poison" while in the city).

Even I was not fully aware of all that info. I miss my laser printer. I had a binding machine and some fancy papers and made a crap load of, recipe books for the wife, and a couple fancy manuals for a friend. And a nice Lineage ][ Start guide book.

But I used to print out quests, locations etc. I was heavily into this game. But what they say is true. If you don't use it, you loose it.
