Hi! I'm a newbie in L2 (been playing for about 2-3 months on L2 SEA).

my character is a lvl 50 PR, and i regularly play with a 45 SK and a 50 Oracle.
i also have a lvl 35 scav.

our main problem right now is getting gear, like me for example i have a theca armor and galtiers, and D grade gloves, helm and boots with a +3 Akat.

L2 Sea being a new server doesn't really have that many high levels so materials are either over priced or is not being sold at all.

my questions are.

1. what's the best way for the 3 of us to get good gear by ourselves? do we level my scav to our level to farm for mats?

2. do we continue to just level with non top C grade equips and just do the A grade recipe/ mats quests at 70?

3. do we skip top C grade and go to B grade? with our dwarf or could we farm it without the dwarf?

4. if we out level an area and still hasn't completed our sets do we level down our characters?

5. what's the best weapon for the elven oracle at this point (homunkulu is still out of the scenario since only 3 people have it on the server and no one seems to be selling mats at the moment).

6. how would we earn adena at our levels? do the 3 of us level without shots? or only i use shots? our elven oracle is currently using a traveller's weapon and uses a lot of bspsD just to root or heal us, as well as me using a lot of spsc just to kill a monster only to drop 300 adena.


sorry for the questions but L2 is very hard on a new server and there's really no one to ask about it on our forums.

Well aim for the top B grade and leave the A grade for the far future..

Give extra attention to you scavenger and make him a spoiler (bounty hunter) also find a good warsmith with those two you will get to B grade in an acceptable amount of time...

Since you are a lot of people exp on white mobs or green if you want to farm some cash and adenas. or try dungeons like cruma tower,devils isle or necropolis/catacombs if you wanna exp fast.

Your oracle should get a crystal staff(mana up) if possiblea or a no-grade Voodoo Doll and use normal no-grade spiritshots (if he is that cheap ) it will cost him almost nothing..

Let the SK use shots ,the PR does nice damage even with ought shots and you wont pull mobs from the tank.

Also get some dyes

so that means we'll be using mid-top C grade until 60+ so we can farm the mats/recipes for our gear.

need to catch up our scavy so we could spoil the mats.
