Hello everyone! So I updated to Gracia Final, but now I cant play any private server. The thing is I can play the retail client, but when I try to launch from another system folder I get critical error saying that my disk space/virtual memory arent enough. I have tons of disk space and my virtual memory is at max... And being able to launch the retail game means the problem isnt my PC xD

Does anyone know how to fix this? Maybe some file is missing??

the same happened to me.....and when i tried to check files or run the updater again i got an imcomplete system instead of the normal system folder....only solved the problem after connecting to a server with it's own patcher and system folder....

But thats exactly the problem I have -.- I can connect to servers with host file, but not to the ones with system patch...

I also have this problem. The game works fine with retail but after i change the IP and click ok on the updater, the picture with "gracia final" freezes in my background. I have tried loading the game and then changing the IP before logging in and i get an error. " a hacking tool has been discovered".. to be exact.. =/ this is really frustrating as none of my other friends are having this problem. I'm willing to try just about anything. Ive already reinstalled twice. PLEASE correspondence is DIRE!

I had a problem to...something with drivers for processor and virtual memory...When I saw that..I was shocked ( I have new processor and alot of memory) and never saw something like this before.
So I updated my AMD processor and instaled a Windows fix for dual core processors.Seems to be a serious problem with dual core processors if AMD/Intel and Microsoft worked toghether to fix this issue.
Well after I did that...It works just fine now....both on host and system pach.

If you play a hosted server - start the game with the updater LineageII.exe
For pached system servers - start the game with L2.exe from system folder

Did u clean registry after uninstalling?
Long ago i had a simulair problem as u discribe, and was only able after a friend of me cleaned my registry (as normal pc users, u wouldn't think of that ).
After that 1 time cleaning the registry i never had the problem anymore, so i aint to sure if that really was the problem or just luck.
But it might be worth giving it a try.

I've actually cleaned it up several time. Thanks for the suggestion.
I have reached a conclusion however. It seems that even though an antivirus may be expired, it is still functioning in the background. I disabled it and im back in buisness.
