On the server that im playing (?) pets don t get exp if they dont hit the mob, and leveling a baby pet (= almost no p.atk) is a real PAIN.
I want to know how it is on retail, so i can say what is wrong to GMs.

Afaik baby pets, no matter in which chronicle you play, they will get exp and by taking an amount depending on the mobs exp in percentage.
Have never seen a baby pet that had to hit to lvl, only others.

i remember how retarded was i when i tryed to lvl a bufallo...lawl has 1 patk!
now its changed
pets dont even have to hit

Then, if it's that way; would it be like this?:

-Wolf: Hit to gain exp
-Hatchling: Hit to gain exp
-Baby pet: Don't need to hit to gain exp

Since Gracia even wolves and hatchlings can only stand in near of the master to gain exp, as much as i know. xD

haha ye now its easier. I remember back in c4 i tryed to lvl hatchling and some bastards pk'ed him.... the xp without buffs was EXTREMELY low.
