Hello guys, I'm gonna go play on a new 3x hi5 server but the problem is i haven't played any chronicle higher then interlude so can you help me with some tips regarding how I should play with an Abyss Walker till i reach 78/80 ?
Do I need to level up a wolf ?
Is it worth to make a strider ?
Major quests like the subclass one have changed ?I mean do you still need the moonstone shards/rb/baium ?

Any tips and tricks you can share with me would be very much appreciated, thank you in advance !

Leveling is not difficult in that chronicle. Just make sure you have some recommends from other players (they increase xp rate for 1(?) hour) and get some of those nevit hourglasses to extend the effects. A wolf helps you level up, especially with nice gear, but it becomes pretty useless past 79 or so.

All major quests are the same. You can skip the Baium stabbing part by acquiring some items in TOI instead (make sure you pick the right option in harden's accademy, there is no way to go back). In high5 you can skip the (barakiel?) raid by a secondary quest to farm a LOT of stuff in Valley of saints instead.

For PVE you can use +str/-con dyes. For PVP you're better off with +str/-dex or +con/-dex (dex doesn't do anything for daggers anymore, not sure if it was like that in IL).

Most maps are good for melee characters at this stage. Good farming spots are the new Dragon Valley, Giants Cave (daggers are really nice for half kills on massive HP mobs), Monastery of silence... all of these places have been upgraded to higher levels since freya/H5.

Dualdaggers are quite good for PVE once you get them (81). They are also useful for olympiad as they give you some extra crowd control and extra blows. Single dagger tends to be better for large scale PVE as you have backstab and more damage overal.
