Hello guys, I'm a l2 veteran planning on returning to the game. I consider to start playing on official server but several years ago, when I last played there, it was full of bots, is that still the case? Also, do you think it's possible to catch up on official server when there are people who have been playing for ages there? Thanks for all the answers.

There are lots of bots on official server, even nowdays.
If you want to start play again, consider the big level gap (for pvp) between 85 and 99.
Or the 2nd option - farm till death. :)

nowdays there are private servers with retail GOD files preparing to launch .
like DEX www.lineage.ro in January 2013 . No bots

go to lineage2.eu its also official and no bots, friendly community and high server quality :)
