Depends, really. I'd personally choose carnage. If you're rolling with self buffs, I'd choose the carnage for faster skill refresh. Full buffs choose the soul bow.

i think u notice this little diference..

Soul Bow is kinda nice when you have full buff and as full i mean PP / BD / SwS / WarChant / CoV but still i would prefer Carnage because of the dps . By the way you may hit for 960,8 with SB and 730,6 with Carnage but the QR of the SB dosen't make the bow as it would be Slow Attack Speed and because of that the dps would be far more big with Carnage and if you add the miss chance .. damn . Allmost no one used SB on retail ppl prefer to make an OE BoP or something , as for Carnage it was the best bow vs tank's in Open PvP in C4 ( ofc with CB SA ) . Dps = Damage per second , you allready blow up by compareing two weapons with diffrent attack speed , an SR with Carnage would shoot 2 arrows untill you shoot 1 . Overall dps is higher with Carnage , but ppl go for SB because they are new to this game and see the big diffrence bettwen Carnage and SB .

dps= dmg per second not dmg per hit.

The only reason wich u could chose carnage for, it's because u like the way it looks

BOP = atk.speed-> slow, p.atk 400
Carnage=atk.speed -> slow, p.atk 440

BOP can have Quick recovery SA => even more atack speed

the only thing that carnage has better is that 40 p.atk. and what does that mean for an archer ? NOTHING AT ALL

better stay with BOP and u save money

Yeah dps = damage per second and what you did it's like compareing the dps of a bow and a dagger . Make a test get a Carnage and a SB and you will see that you will shoot 3 arrows with Carnage and 2 with SB , ofc the P.atk of SB greatly surpass Carnage but there are factors like miss / crit chance , anyway i would prefer to hit 3 times instead of 2 because of the dps . The QR SA dosen't make SB an Slow atk type. for BoP ofc i would prefer a it but the topic was Carnage Vs SB .
