Post subject:  Pls help old noob choosing character for Freya
Hi all,
I've read the topics regarding starting class / character in Freya, but I'm still undecided.
I've quit Lineage 3 years ago and now I want to see how is Freya.
Server is x7, box allowed and I'm not really interested in End Game, I think I will play till 70 or so.
I want to play solo, with support char in box and I'm not interested in clans, sieges, OLY, etc.
I will play mainly PvE; PvP is not a goal of mine, but sometimes it happens.
So pls can you tell me a good combo main / support char good at solo PvE and not totally PvP sucker?
I know that money will be a problem, so I intend to make also a BH for mats spoil / AA.
When I played I really liked SR but they are expensive and I understand from forums that now it's hard to play alone as an archer.
Thks in advance and pls don't laugh too hard on me :)

Well if u want to play till 70 lvl u can play DA , it is cool in solo PvE, cool in PvP, u have a npc buff for u and the kitty till 75 , well if u want to play after 72 make a box EE, and go kick some angels butt in WOA til 80. U can make a boring nuker also.

isnt it better to go to some pvp server and test char till 85?
on such server many features wont work properly but same goes for ur 7x so i dunno if there is any point in testing this..

Thks Orodras, DA would be fun.

BigLol, as you said I don't want to test chars on high rate server because it is very possible that missing features / bugs / mods to be different there and on my future server.

Some other opinions?

dagger/archer + wc is always fun, at any lvl. like he said, nukers are also fun (especially sps at low lvls)

and u believe that low rate is better than those high rates?
whats the difference between low and high rate if they r both using same files?
there is no good freya server atm, maybe some day some1 will release freya server on l2off files but for now... its worth to play high rates for a while only

I'm in PvE / farming mode and I want to take it slow on Freya to check mobs, new areas, quests, etc.
That's why I want to start on new server with low rates.

u said u wanna see how it is but ask urself a simple question: do u want to test pve or pvp?
u said u r goin to play only for a while so pvp server is a lot better choice if u want to test pvp, not low lvl pve

As I said, I 'm interseted in PvE / Quest not PvP. I will play few hours / week and take it slowly only with main / support box - no party, clan, siege, oly.
That's why I've said that I will play till ~ lvl 70.

Yeah kinda hard, but not imposibble.. Any dagger + SE would be a good option. Old topic btw :wink:
