Sorry if this is in the wrong spot. I have no idea where it would go. I am interested in playing on multiple servers and have no idea how to go about it. If someone could explain how or point me to a place that gives directions that would be very nice. Thanks, Tbred |

If the servers use the same chronicle u can just make a system file for each one. If they use different chronicles u have to copy/paste the client to another location and install the new client |

there are 2 possibilities 1)the servers u play in use "system" patch to set the connection.what does this mean?to connect to server X you need to visit their website and download their system folder, extract it in your lineage2 folder and connect through their system to their server NOTE:there are servers that allow u to connect throught a patch that has a different name (for example raidfight (www.raidfight.eu) has applied a patch, system folder itself, that is named "raidfight" and to connect to raidfight u DO NOT NEED TO ACCESS SYSTEM FOLDER because raidfight is equal to a system folder and does not need to be renamed to "system". servers that did not apply such option need the casual "system" to connect.how to connect to multiple servers that have different system folder(patch) each? rename the system folder and apply the new one! example: u would like to play on a server called "europe".in its genuine appearance L2 client's system folder will lead to connection to the OFFICIAL SERVERS. to apply the patch for the private server called "europe" u need to replace the new system with the older one BUT it is recommended to have a backup of ur official system.what to do? rename system to system-official (for example) and place the new system folder (which connects u to the 2nd server) in ur main l2 directory. to connect to another server , for example called "asia" you have to rename system (which connects u to "europe") to system-europe (for example) and place the new system patch which enables connection to server "asia". it is quite simple-by renaming the system folder u switch between the servers. to rename the folders ur lineage 2 client has to be closed 2)connection through hosts file hosts file is located in windows/system32/drivers/etc and sets the server IP u connect to to play multiple servers that need only hosts file modification u have to visit windows/system32/drivers/etc and open the hosts file with notepad modify the IP and set the one ur server needs to connect FOR EXAMPLE : 127.0.0.1 localhost 80.249.166.77 l2authd.lineage2.com 80.249.166.77 l2testauthd.lineage2.com 80.249.166.77 nprotect.lineage2.com this is what hosts file contains to modify it u need to delete the current text and set for example this one 127.0.0.1 localhost 188.40.115.76 l2authd.lineage2.com to play for example 3 servers simultaneously u gotta make backups of their hosts files just like u did with the system folders ~~~~~~~~~ to sum it up: 1) system folder: -rename old system folder to a name u like -apply new system folder, play -to play another server rename the older system folders and set a name u like -apply ur new system folder and play -to play the previous server rename the current one to a name u like -rename the older system back to "system",play 2)hosts: -make a backup of ur old hosts -place the new hosts and play -to play another server rename old hosts to something u like(for example "hosts-pvp server") -to play another server rename ur previous hosts file(for example hosts--->"hosts-lr server") -to switch to previous server use the same renaming method hope u got it |

It's very easy to do. If both servers are one version, interlude for example. Instal the client somewhere. Copy the entire folder with the game into disc d for example. Now you should have folder with size 4+gb. And now you should have two folders with la2 interlude. Go to the server you wish to play in and download the required files. In most of the cases it's the system folder. 1st. Site (x) Put the system (x)folder to the original la2 folder. Then go to the other server (y) and download system (y) ,put it in the copied client in disc d,or wherever you've copied the original game folder. To play in both servers start both system/l2.exe (x) and system/l2.exe (y) If the game version is different, for example one server is kamael (x) and the other is freya (y). Download both clients. Install whichever you want first. Let's just say you've installed Kamael (x) first. Install (x) somewhere, copy the entire game folder and paste the folder somewhere ,in disc d for example. Then uninstall Kamael client and delete all files from the original folder, terminate it completely. Then install Freya (y) client somewhere. Go to the Kamael server, download system (in many cases the system folder is known as "patch, kamael patch etc." Put/extract kamael patch to the kamael client folder. Download freya patch and pu t into freya client folder. Start both l2.exe from the apropiate folders. *If the clients don't stuck together,do the same you did with the kamael client. Install freya ,copy game folder somewhere and then uninstall freya. So ,now you should have two Clients, and both wont be installed. GL & HF |
