i'm having difficulties running l2 on win7 os, registry is fine
totalcmd only says "error executing program"
my comp says "The application has failed to start because it's side-by-side configuration is incorrect."
cow says "moo"

anyone got a sollution?

If you aren't playing old chronic start the game from the launcher and wait till it's ready- I heard that there is sth about win7 in the last patch.
If U play old chronic try to use program that disables the game guard.

Ps :I'm not sure that it will work

i wanted to prepare gfinal for dex

dunno about epilogue, maybe i intsall one up for that too, but i'd rly like some help for final anw

gameguard fix i already have [aion/l2 version], doesn't work at all, the issue imo is sth else

i dun wanna go back to xp since the performance is way better in win7 ultimate

Download that (it loads pretty slow to me ) and then extract the gameguard.des file in your sistem folder.If you start the game from the dex updater replace the file before U click finish.I hope it will help you .

it's a pity that it has no use if dex hasn't started its server yet:D
but i can't try it dude anw, that's not the source of the issue, i don't even have gameguard installed on a fresh client

eh I don't know then I searched all over the internetz even this scary russian forums where they are talking only about vodka :/

they said that it won't be longer than 2-3months....well, i'll take my time anyway, good thing about xmas that they release a bunch of frigin awsm game b4 it:)

Just turn off your antivirus!
i had this problem too, and when i turned off windows firewall everything was ok
hope you solved this prob
