talismans are new things in CT1
it's a sort of magic stone wich you put on a bracelet to get some skills/ability during an amount of time (60 minutes)
it can gives many nice skills like invisibility, invulnerability but alsp can increase your stats or give you buff
it's like augment.

You can buy talismn with knight epaulettes in fortress and castle.

I think it's not yet available on private server
