This works very good only till kamael, coz your destros gotta stay only at 30% hp, and if the rb is starting to hit em, he will kill em all with only 1 hit
You can add a songer too ..

pf best tank imo for raids is not the DA id choose pala/tk..tk is maybe a bit harder cuz u dont stay and hate like pala->u run and hate the boss,for palas thats not so easy cuz they have low dex:)

about the vr thing i say that in c4 u was able just to regenerate with ur vampiric..sry if u missunderstood me.3 tanking tyrant? o O wtf? i still think u need a tanker for the raid!tyrant is not tanker and ofcourse at raids i would use light armors...tyrant+light=tanker? dont think so! and i havent sayd anything like that...ofcourse u should have bd/sws/se/bish/pp(wc/ol?)
and maybe EE but if u dont have EE just another SE will do the job..i love SE:) and for damage dealers i think its not so efficient to kill raids with mages anymore...or maybe it is?i still think tyrants will do the job very good

this opinion i have is according to my experience on a x7 server on interlude (with mana pots) raiding bosses from lvl 40-60.. unfortunately, i haven't raided anything higher than that and i don't consider myself a pro and this is only my opinion.. i am open to suggestions but don't chuck a rage if this doesn't suit you as i have seen is many many topics before..

IMO, raid bosses with minions are much easier coz in an organised party, the minions are quickly and easily taken out first which leaves the boss which is easy.. even if minions spawn again, it is easier than before seeing they spawn one by one.. and each raid boss (with minions) only takes 20 mins INCLUDING travelling time, all prep (buffing) and taking out the raid boss

the general raiding party consisted of:

1 tank

1 healer

rest DD's: dagger, archer, summoner classes but we have never done one with mages

1 high level PP outside of party



tank goes in, hate aura then UDs... if in an area of aggro mobs, obviously pull it out first then UD... everyone follow ONE PERSON's target starting with MINIONS first... and after all the minions are dropped, the rest is dead easy... i played as a DD so my job was easy, just </assist * /attack> as a macro... but the most important part is the tank... if you have a tank that doesn't know what he/she is doing, and doesn't maintain aggro, you WILL die

this method has ALWAYS worked and we haven't been taken out by a raid boss before as long as the tank knew what he/she was doing..

and for those people who think DA's can't tank.. they can, most of my raiding was done WITH a DA..

ok this is how u do every rb.
1 group needed.for some rbs 2.
no tank needed (unofrtunately).
pp or wc with pof or cov.oof even if it's wc you buff and leave.it's hard tho becuase 1 part member needs to get rebbufed again.get the bd out he doesn't need cov.
1 healer,2 rechargers (EEs that can also give a good heal in difficult moments)
1 sws,1 bd.bd doesn't have to be too high at lvls..i don't recall when sws gets all useful songs but the higher the lvl of those two the better for their mp.if u need 70-75 rbs and have dc and not hiero u need renewal on your sws for cov.
4 archers (drac bow ofc) no matter if they have epic.. but element lvl 4 would be really helpful to have.

strategy is simple.the archer that gets aggro runs around kites and gets heal.if aggro changes same process.
if aggro goes on healer it gets a little harder but dont't worry.u have full buffed archers so he is gonna lose it soon.meanwhile ees can heal him or he can heal himself.

In Kamael i would go on dc 78/bd/sws/EE + 4 He and another party with tank/bishop/se..HE go in snipe and hit rb and tank try go agrro him bishop will heal tank se will recharge hes mp....EE from 1st party will recharge he and heal only if rb hit the HEs

omg have you killed a RB like this?
First of all archers cant tank the hits of the raidboss. they wearing light armor and each hit of raid boss will be about 1k dmg. If it has minions archer is dead with the first shot.
If healer aggros raid boss healer is dead! Archers cant aggro him soon enough. 3-4 hits and healer is dead. Raid without a tank is 50% lost already. And to get it straight. Tanks are not ONLY used because of the highest pdef i n game. There r used because of the aggresion/hate aura skill so the raid wont hit the DD (usually mages) or healers
