About the jewelery is great Common and about weapons ...

Well if you have party, is good to have Common if you are spoiler ...

But for mages weapon and armors are disaster except buffers (not sure )

you can't enchant common items.
in armor even if u have full set, you wont get armor bonus if it is common.
it it's a weapon you can't enchant it or give SA.
if u crystalize it ull get less crystals than you would with normal item.
