those hats that dont have any skills dont have expiration...

but those that have skills, have expiration...
especially the hats that came from the Trick or Transmutation event...
the hats that came from this event are considered as shadow items...
if you use the skills(blessed resu/escape, firework, bighead etc) reduces the "mana" of the item...

hats like Valakas/Antharas Circlet or Pirate Hat [Zaken`s drop] can be obtained from those rb`s,party mask and others from craft or fishing and,as kentzone sayed,other accesories are from event like trick of transmutation [retail event]... anyway,shadow items have duration,they expired;about hats with s/a,I think that only the s/a have a duration,but i`m not sure...

I dont know that any hat have any SA . I know that Cstle Circlet-s and that gives some Hp/Cp ..but can you plx post on what SA you mean ?

Well some shadow hats have bsoe SA. Dunno. I'm not too interested in l2 fashion.

you have also hats from fortress/castle and from oly manager
fortress/castle hats can be bought with epaulette and are race specific.
Oly manager hats are classe specific and can be bought with noble gates passes
