Post subject:  L2 private servers with higher online count now?
As L2 becomes older it becomes harder to find populated server. I'm trying to compile an updated list of the higher number of online users by server.

L2 SERVERS BY ONLINE COUNT:

Icarus: These guys seem to be lying about their population too. Their website shows around 2k players no matter if it's peak time or middle of the night. On top of that Giran on a 2k players server doesn't look like this: https://imgur.com/a/ON1xzAK
They claimed there were 2k players online at that moment. I've seen servers with less than 1k players having more shops and players in town than that.

Help compile the list replying with your findings (server name, chronicle, rates, online count)!!!

all servers, especially pvp ones have boosted their online numbers 5 or more times. what is the point to watch to online counter? current L2 is all about making profit. you must change server every month or you lose money, because of that there is constant roaming from project to project...

Those listed are the only servers displaying online counters i know. Most servers don't even show it cos they are ashamed of it and know if they display it nobody will play there.
Even if we don't have a real number perception counts you can tell a server is active just by visiting starting villages, gludio, dion and giran, if they all seem dead is safe to say the numbers is < 100.

I think you can also get exact players count using 3rd party software, but i don't use them.

not over 1k onlike actually .

gamecoast opened latest classic update server and ppl say it has PTS off files . many parties from Skelth/gran kain moved there aswell as russian RMT groups . bot detecting ~300 ppl gludin and ~220 gludio and all farm spots are pretty much full .

Anyway... If Russian private servers are 'allowed' then there's plenty of them with several k's online. I don't really watch them too much but as someone mentioned through l2on.net there's legit 4k online right now on KetraWars, there's also Asterios with 3k on right now, gamecoast classic will have no less than that and I saw some other classic Russian server which was pretty huge as well... There's definitely more but as a non-Russian you don't really stumble upon them too much :)

^ Russians have crazy population as always, but I'm not sure how long lived their midrates are. If there's seriously 4k on KetraWars that's fucking crazy.
I wouldn't play on a 1x but it's impressive.

Ps. I see that TheGame (midrate IL) claim to have 2k online right now. Really healthy number for a midrate.

Thanks but it will be hard to maintain a list like this, i don't know what was i thinking.
i guess we can still use this topic to get to know those servers with high player count (mainly Russians).

^ TheGame had 2k yesterday evening and still has 2k today at almost lunch time. That's rings fishy to me.

Fuck it, imma try it. Zaken looks sexy but no way I'm playing any project of that retard from l2classic.ws. Paying money for equipment completely ruins the server, and he also promised he'd update to Antharas (he refused to do it afterwards) and on top of that, lied about the population count. The ingame counter said the server still had 2.5k online while Giran had like 5-10 active players excluding the shops at peak time. Pure bullshit.
What a piece of shit owner.

This is the kind of thread which needs to be remade once a month or something, as constantly updating the list gets hard real fast since you have to remove the old ones which aren't viable anymore. Especially considering how many mid-rates have the lifespan of an average fruit fly (or an average Javascript framework, pick one).

Or we can just keep it as it is and discuss current popular servers.

Speaking of which, just about everything aside from low-rates seems to be trash as usual.

There's something odd with ketrawars.
I pked 1 time (at lvl 8- lol) and i had to die like 15 times to be able to clean Karma.
I don't remember Interlude being like that anywhere else i'm pretty sure 1 dead was enough at that level, specially on IL.

No way i'm gonna lvl-up on a x1 not to be able to pk.
