 Post subject: Lineage 2 - New concept ?

As im witnessing what ncsoft did to this wonderful game nowadys (removed most drops, made it to easy to level up), im wondering....
What would you guys think of a server with

- latest GoD client (IO:Underground)
- low rates 5x-10x
- reAdding of old droplists (like c4-h5)
- luxury shop up to Mid C grade (like c3-c4 times)
- Vitality changed to give lesser bonus
- no common/shadow items
- reAdding of monsters ncsoft removed from game (in instances?)
- no npc buffers

So in short....
It would have everything that makes the game to easy removed.
And would take few steps back to the good old Lineage II we all like.


Please feel free to post your tought/ideas.

Cant wait to enter AF with dem karmian sets. Just open another interlude server, why bother with anything else.

yeah, it was long time since ive seen international low rate c6 with decent online ;C those stupid h5 kills last gasp for l2

Ayy lmao. I was being sarcastic, if anything killed L2 its these fucking trashcan l2j interlude servers being opened every single day to milk cash out of 13 year old virgins who think privates are a worthwhile hobby while ignoring the people who played this game for a decade.

I honestly stopped watching the new clients after G.o.D. but isn't it like completely messed up? Like new race and such? For me personally, anything added after G.o.D. is a mess. And it's not a coincidence most popular chronicles are Interlude and High Five.

But don't get me wrong, your concept is interesting. But it would need a LOT of advertising to be successful, because majority of players avoid G.o.D.+ clients like devil avoids the cross and those who like them usually stick to official server :)

People avoid GOD privates because every single server uses H5 as a base client and just adds shit on top of it making the most unbalanced and bugged servers, there is a reason why you cant just download system and log in using retail client to any of IOU privates and it literally takes less time to upgrade H5 client using their updaters than updating the retail one.

This guy has no idea about anything post-h5 making these suggestions, he would need to rebalance literally every single detail of the game to make this suggestion viable which is impossible since you would need a lot of money, time and capable people and i doubt he has any of these things at his disposal. And also whats the point, nobody in their right mind would play a low rate god private, the amount of time required to be anywhere near the endgame lvl and gear wise is insane and server would close way before anyone would be 100+.

I'm also not a big fan of GoD and above chronicles, but I did play on Magmeld server when it first opened back in 2010, and I had one of the best experiences with the game. They implemented a lot of changes that actually improved the 1-85 experience, for example:

- Combined Songs and Dances, so you need only one bard class in the party.
- Reduced party size to 7, easier to organize parties.
- Vampiric effects applying to skills and magic as well, balanced out the PvE.
- Overhit system properly working with extra XP.
- Being able to have a Servitor and a Pet out at the same time.

And many more features.

I was playing with some old clannies from Azure, and we basically PvP'd for about 12 hours non-stop @ ToI, just to gain control of the upper floors for party leveling. It was amazing, I've never had so much PvP in a day in all of my years of L2 except for some epics on overpopulated IL/H5 servers. This was a simple farm zone, and more than 400 people were in it.

I quit soon after hitting 86, when I realized it was way too grindy and I didn't like the awakened classes because the uniqueness of every class was lost. The classes were all dumped together and there was no difference other than minimal stats.
