L2 private servers became like a match of dota nowadays. And it's community's fault. Match "start", some people "win", others "lose" than go "next match". It's a MMORPG and peaple play it like a MOBA.

You can play the game as you like, but what I mean is that the community should show at least a little respect to the few servers in recent years that tried to not be another "match".

Back on topic: in september/octomber new servers will surely pop up.

I agree with botsman (although I hate bots). The only thing that's keeping a server up is the community.
Sadly, NCsoft knew, that people will fight each other if they can win something over it and the whole Lineage system is built on exploitation of others. This results in people brawling each other instead of enjoying of the time spent together and the servers die.

But there's a new lowrate coming up! l2-resistance . com
HighFive (Freya, dunno which part) x7 exp and other rates lower, x2,x3 quest drop and exp/sp rewards. Starting on 20th of August. Tripple-boxing allowed. No item-donations (only misc./agathions/hats). Vote rewards for voting on 6 websites.
What is the server missing? You! :) Also, you can visit Forum on the l2-resistance . com website to post in Suggestions thread.

I checked the server on beta and it seems, that it's good for +15 people strong clans, who have their own economy management. Random players will always be exiled there. This is quite sad and I wished for a different type of server.
It will be all about rushing to the high levels, tripple-boxing all the time in maxed parties and doing raidbosses on paid premium accounts. 2 or 3 damage dealers per person, +25 characters on a raid and time after time drop-hunt. Of course, random can also get into such system, but once you loose the level-similarity you will simply drop out and the low rates will make it hard to catch up, both with the items and the levels. Also, the ingame party-matchmaking wont work well with the multiboxing feature.

There also is L2 Ecliptic, starting on 20th of August, 2016 18:00 gmt+1. x25 exp but with allowed triple box, so you can have x8exp/character. No skillbooks though (so no Wishing Potion Madness!). I suggested on forum to increase the rates of A grade keys/recs giving quests, hopefully this will give an alternative to rushing. Vote links on the main page in top right corner!

I was looking for a server just like u mate untill i joined L2next com.

Stable , brand new, IL x5 L2off server with a great growing community and very friendly staff.

LF retail-like (no GM shop, no GM buffer etc.) english speaking C4 server with x5 rates or higher (preferably equal for everything except RB drop and some quest rewards). Dualbox prohibited or at worst 1 buffer per player allowed. 2 buffers are too much. System preferably vanilla (no fkin mob level and other garbage). If its not, Ill replace the custom files with vanilla files. Preferably no donations, but if its just for hats or real life T-shirts, it can be.
